East Telečko vineyard - Terroir with character
The Telečka plateau is a geological formation of loess sediments, extremely suitable for vines. Gentle slopes (100-130 m above sea level), openness to winds and a long, stable growing season allow:
- Full phenolic ripeness of red varieties
- Preservation of natural acids
- Stable development of the aromatic profile
- The precise structure of the wine
Chernozem gives strength and depth, the loess base contributes to elegance, and the Pannonian climate provides a balance between concentration and freshness.
In such a terroir, Vranac acquires a new dimension — it becomes strong, but sophisticated. Structured but harmonious.
Lovćenac, inhabited by Montenegrin families after 1945, symbolically became the place where the south met the north, and Crmnica got the Pannonian horizon.
Tradition - The vow of Gojko and Milo Ljutica
In 1945, in a wave of historic migrations, Ljubo Ljutica, Gojko’s father, brought the Vranac lineage from Crmnica to Vojvodina. That act was not a business decision. It was an act of identity preservation.
That vine was planted in the land of Lovćenac.
That line survived.
That vine became the foundation.
Milo Ljutica, the inheritor of that vow, nine generations later, raised the family tradition to the level of a superior winemaking philosophy. No deviation, no compromise with quality, no leaving the roots.

We only use wine that naturally flows under the weight of the grapes. This process enables:

Samotok is an expression of respect for the variety and for the time.
Fermentation is carried out with wild, green, natural wine yeasts — carefully selected to preserve the full authenticity of Vranac and its connection with the terroir of the Istočnotelec wine region.

It is produced in strictly limited quantities, from the most selected grapes and the most noble single-flow. It ages carefully until it reaches a complete harmony of structure and elegance.
